Continuing Education
Professional continuing education credits will be provided for
each diversity conference; however the category and number of credits may vary according
to the program at each location.
Nursing contact hours have been applied for through the Texas Nurses
Association, an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American
Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Each conference has been approved to provide 6 contact hours (.6 credit hours) of
Continuing Professional Education credits (CPE) for educators and
General CE credit for business professionals and public policy
makers. The CPE/CE credit is provided by Texas Tech University’s Division of Outreach
and Distance Education.
All who attend will receive an “AHEC Continuing Education Credit”
certificate.
